It was a cold defeat at home against the Spanish giant Barcelona F.C. for Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
It was Lionel Messi who took the chance to give Barcelona the lead they wanted against the Gunners in the first leg.
The visitors had the possession but Arsenal had their chances too but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Olivier Giroud turned it down. They were close in scoring but going close was not enough.
Here is what the Gunner's keeper Petr Cech has to say
"If you play one of the favourites to win the Champions League and you have a chance, you need to find a goal."
"I thought we did really well until the first goal. We had some opportunities and we should have scored. I think that would have made a big difference.
"The only thing we didn’t do well was take our chances. In games like this you need to be more clinical and you need to find the back of the net.
"They had three or four chances and we had the same. The difference was they managed to score a goal from a counter attack."
