Arsene Wenger Gives Update On Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's Injury

Wenger confirms midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could miss SEVEN WEEKS

After the game against Barcelona, Arsenal did not only lost the match in their home but also injured their midfielder. In the latest press conference Arsene Wenger confirmed Chamberlain will be out for few weeks and will defiantly not get featured in Manchester United clash.

This news is devastating for English midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain as he fears he could miss the title run-in and also a place in Roy Hodgson’s squad for the Euros.
Wenger said: “He is (devastated). Let’s hope that we get good news that it’s only two or three weeks, not six or seven.

“It’s a new injury. He has been cut in two by Mascherano and he did his knee. It was a fully committed tackle but it didn’t look malicious. We have to see how big the damage is in his knee. Hopefully we will have good news later.”
