It was a mixed 2014 for Ajay Devgan. While his Singham Returns with Rohit Shetty struck gold at box office, Action Jackson fell flat on its face, proving to be one of the biggest duds of last year.

This year, after his directorial debut Shivaay got delayed, fans are waiting for Ajay’s Drishyam  remake to hit the screens. We finally have some news about Shivaay, which was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay is slated to release on 26 January, 2017. Trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted,” Ajay Devgn’s directorial venture #Shivaay to release on 26 Jan 2017. Produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilms and Eros International”. Earlier this year, Mr Devgn had whisked off to Canada to shoot for the film, but came back soon as the level of snow was not as he had expected.
